You bring things home and it doesn’t look near like what you envisioned it looking like in your home and you get frustrated, and you just don’t know what you’re doing and you feel like you’re throwing away money. But you feel like you have to keep what you bought because you spent good money on it, but it doesn’t look right.
You want help but you don’t think you can afford an interior designer because interior designers are too expensive, interior designers aren’t going to listen to you, interior designers aren’t going to do what you want them to do or you’re intimidated and you just don’t know where to find one.
I heard this a lot, and I’m kind of coming on to start this conversation with you today because I was sitting at my hairdressers the other day and we just kind of started talking about design, some projects I was doing, and I can just kind of tell when I started talking about some of my lower services that I’ve been going on with some clients that she was surprised.
She didn’t know that there are some designers out there who are more assessable. Who do have their services at different levels and different tiers so that we can make ourselves more available to people who want our help.
Yes, interior designed as a luxury service. I’m not saying it’s not but it’s a luxury service that in my opinion, I want more people to be able to access because I feel it is so important for you to be able to come home to a space that welcomes you, that stress free, chaos free, it just makes you feel happy, it makes you feel safe, and not everybody can afford the highest level of services.
So I kind of wanted to come on the next few days and talk to you about our 3 most successful services. And they’re tiered, so you don’t have to just go all in.
So the 1st is our 2-hour consultation so you could be somebody who loves to go shopping, who loves to pick out the pieces on your own, who knows what you’re going for, but you just need a path. You may be needed color scheme, you may need a floor plan laid out to scale for you, maybe you need to have someone come into your home with a fresh set of eyes and say do this, don’t do this, keep this, and take this out. And that’s what our 2-hour consultation is for.
We come in, we say OK, you have a pen and paper ready, we’re going to have one as well to make our own notes in case you call us and have a question. And we’re gonna walk through your house. You have questions ready, we can go through your whole house if we have time or we can go through just one Room and give you a detailed plan just for that room, but by the end of that 2 hours you are gonna know, you’re gonna have a plan that you can get started on.
It’s going to have a path for you to take, and again, maybe that’s just a floor plan. So we can just sit down, take a Room measure, and make a floor plan for you for your living room so you know exactly what size rug to get and you know exactly what size sofa to get.
Or maybe you need paint colors, or maybe you just moved into your house and you just want to know where to put things. That’s what hour 2-consultation if for.
