Sherry Millien, one of America’s premier Christian-based designers, is known for the unique, one-of-a-kind interiors she creates for prominent clients throughout the metropolitan Houston area.
Sherry is expanding her full-service luxury interior design business nationwide, but she specializes in serving homeowners in The Woodlands, Bellaire, Kemah, Katy, Cypress, Tanglewood, West University, River Oaks and other area communities. She provides everything from project management and remodeling to space planning and furniture selection.
Sherry, who has 20 years experience. is a gifted interior consultant who helps clients save time, update and upgrade their space, and overcome design challenges. Her clients include Fortune 500 executives, oil company representatives, professional athletes, doctors, surgeons, business owners and other successful professionals. Integrity and extraordinary customer service are hallmarks of her Christian-based company.
Sherry also spent seven years as a full-time child advocate to assist in facilitating a meaningful inclusion program for her daughter with Down Syndrome. Her years as an advocate provided the valuable communication and organizational skills necessary to run multi-facetted projects successfully between clients, trades, and vendors. The firm donates a portion of its profits to Disability Rights Texas, a non-profit advocacy firm that represents individuals with disabilities and their families in the state of Texas.
The Terravista Interior Design Group is backed by a team of some of the region’s foremost contractors, workroom specialists, painters, installers, cabinet experts, electricians, plumbers and other professionals.
Sherry’s clients benefit from the problem solving, customer relations, product knowledge, communication and other skills she gained during her highly-successful earlier career as a sales representative and interior designer with leading national and local companies.
Sherry keeps current on design trends by attending industry shows and educational events around the country. She is an allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers, the nation’s largest and longest-established organization of design professionals. A graduate of Oklahoma State University, she earned a degree in human environmental sciences, design, housing and merchandising.
INTERIOR DESIGN Assistant
Ever since Lexi was a little girl, she had a burning passion for design that burned bright within her. This fire within her was first sparked when she began the delightful task of creating her very own Barbie houses. As she grew older, her love for design only intensified and she knew that it was something she wanted to pursue.
It was during her final year in college that Lexi had the incredible opportunity to embark on an internship at Terravista IDG. Little did she know that this experience would change her life forever. As she delved into the world of residential design, Lexi discovered that it was more than just a passion – it was her calling. The thrill of transforming spaces and creating beautiful environments filled her with an indescribable joy.
With her newfound clarity, Lexi graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design, ready to take on the world. Armed with her knowledge and skills, she eagerly stepped into the role of a full-time design assistant at Terravista. Every day, Lexi gets to immerse herself in the world of design, collaborating with clients and bringing their visions to life.
But Lexi’s talents don’t stop there. In addition to her design work, she also takes on the responsibility of managing social media for Terravista. With her keen eye for aesthetics and understanding of the industry, Lexi knows just how to capture the essence of Terravista’s work and communicate it effectively through various social media platforms.
Lexi’s journey from a young girl with a love for Barbie houses to a professional interior designer and social media manager is a testament to her unwavering dedication and passion for design. With each project she takes on and each post she creates, Lexi continues to inspire others with her creativity and determination. The future is bright for this talented individual, as she continues to make her mark in the world of design.
Kristi is our Operations Manager, and has over 25 years of experience in operations, sales, finance, account, vendor, and project management. Although she is mainly behind the scenes, from intake to install she works with the team to ensure the client has a beautiful space and experience.
Kristi brought to Terravista her knowledge, passion, and dedication for improving business productivity and efficiency focusing on both client and vendor relationships. From people, policies, and technology she analyzes, and finds the gaps in order to optimize workflows which help our team provide excellent customer service, and the ability to create amazing spaces for our clients.
Prior to Terravista, Kristi worked her way up from a South Houston Area Sales Manager to a Sales Executive with more than 20 years of leadership experience and achievement of P&L goals. With a consistent record of increasing revenue, fostering highly engaged teams, and putting the customer first she identified issues, and solved operational challenges with innovative solutions.
Kristi also used her excellent communication, people, and collaboration skills to promote company and team missions, training, and professional development of personnel.
She has loved working at Terravista, and knowing she has had a positive impact on the company and team since Sherry reached out to her over 2 years ago to come on board. In return, she has learned so much from Sherry, our trades, vendors, and clients about the Interior Design industry and looks forward to the exciting things to come.
